據(jù)食品質(zhì)量新聞網(wǎng)消息，英國公益團體Breast Cancer UK呼吁立即禁止雙酚a在食品飲料包裝中的使用。公益團體指出，有科學證據(jù)表明暴露于低劑量雙酚A對乳腺組織的生長不利。膳食暴露似乎是人類暴露于雙酚A的主要途徑。然而，英國食品標準局認為，根據(jù)歐盟食品安全局科學意見，暴露于食品接觸材料的雙酚A不構(gòu)成安全風險。

　　Breast Cancer UK has called for the immediate ban on the use of bisphenol A (BPA) in food and drinks packaging as part of a manifesto launched at a parliamentary reception this week.

　　There is scientific evidence that concludes that low level exposure to the endocrine disrupting chemical (BPA)， has an adverse effect on the development of breast tissue, said the charity.

　　Dietary exposure appears to be the main route of human exposure to BPA and continued uncertainty about the chemicals safety means that the precautionary principle should be used to mandate exposure elimination.
